In exchange for a vial of dragon’s blood to save her brother’s life, Melanie Hall offers herself up as a sacrifice to one of the British dragon-shifter clans. Being a sacrifice means signing a contract to live with the dragon-shifters for six months to try to conceive a child. Her assigned dragonman, however, is anything but easy. He’s tall, broody, and alpha to the core. There’s only one problem—he hates humans.

Due to human dragon hunters killing his mother, Tristan MacLeod despises humans. Unfortunately, his clan is in desperate need of offspring to repopulate their numbers and it’s his turn to service a human female. Despite his plans to have sex with her and walk away, his inner dragon has other ideas. The curvy human female tempts his inner beast like no other.

NOTE: This is the entire first story of the Stonefire Dragons, complete with a HEA and no cliffhangers.

  • The dragons are so funny!

If you’ve seen the movie Venom, that is what the dragon half of the shifters sound like. It’s very amusing!

I’m usually not really interested in books like this so I started reading it a little skeptical... but when I tell you this book was one of the best I’ve read in a minute... WHEWWW. I strongly recommend

Review for sacrificed to the dragon I enjoyed this book,it was the first ever dragon-shifter book I have ever read. I was a little skeptical to read this because I have never read one like this and I'm big paranormal fantasy romance lover, I'm also a curvy woman like Melanie hall, so I felt like I was living through her, the strength and courage she has to save her brother and not knowing what it's gonna be like with her dragon is inspiring. Tristan is a Stubborn man which fits with him being a dragon shifter and hating humans but I love how he is chivlerous with trying to protect Melainie. That is what I love about him how he eventually learns that not all humans are horrible and that with Melanie by his side they can show the others that they can get along without hurting each other. I honestly can say I loved this book and I can't wait to read the next one which is about bram. If you have never read a dragon shifter story this would be a good one to start with.

This story suffers from a lot of telling instead of showing. It has little depth, the writing is merely serviceable. It's a quick, trite beach read, though I guess that's all it's meant to be. I keep hoping for a really well written paranormal or fantasy romance with depth, character development, great story arc. This is a genre that is crying for more really talented writers. There are way too many "just okay" ones. Hot Tree Editing seems to work on a lot of these type of romances. I always wonder what the writing was like before they work on it, especially as they are often credited very noticeably, almost equally to the author.
  • Great book

This books makes you want to cry, laugh and even moan! It has great characters that change their views on race throughout the book, I also has grey sex. They both want each other but one of the main characters has a past. Hopefully you guys will enjoy it as much as I did.
