I was standing at the bar and waiting for a friend when it happened.

When my life changed forever.

She strutted inside with her head held high with grace, not pretentiousness. With legs that reached her neck, and an hourglass frame perfect for gripping, she got me hard instantly.

And those green eyes got the rest of my body hard too.

Mistaking me for the man who cheated on her friend, she walked up to me, those green eyes burning with fire, and she slapped me so hard my skin bubbled.

And damn, it felt good.

She slapped me two more times, using her petite size to gain momentum as her palm crushed into my skin.

I never wanted it to end.

I'd never met a woman who made pain feel so good. I'd never met a woman as strong as myself. I'd never met a woman I wanted to dominate more.

I'd never met a woman like her.

Rome Moretti.

My next submissive.

It’s a wonderful story but she makes Rome out to be a little dumb and dense in my opinion
  • One Hot Read!

    By Lisa Bateman
Wow, this is one hot read/listen! If you liked Fifty Shades Of Grey, you will love this. This is much better. Even if you’re not into books with sex, the story of the characters draws you in and keeps you glued. I’m dying for the next one. I want to know more about the heroine’s past. I feel like something big is about to happen in regards to the man that showed up at her work at the end. This book isn’t just about the Dom/sub relationship, it’s about two people who have never really trusted anyone else. Rome still doesn’t know that Calloway owns a club called Ruin and what it is or what and who he really is inside. Calloway has yet to still learn the whole truth about Rome’s past. I feel like both characters are molding and shaping each other along the way. And whether they realize it or not, they are both falling in love. I’m not sure I’ve ever listened to an audiobook where there was more than one narrator. I loved it! They both did an excellent job. Michael has a voice that could melt butter. Lia was superb with the female voices. They both should be on stage in movies. It wasn’t like the book was being read, it was like a movie playing in my head, and I feel like I know the characters.

  • Annoying

    By Noriinny
This girl has violence issues when she gets angry she slaps him, hard. The first time she slapped him 3 times when she thought he was the man that lied to her friend. She must not be that close to this friend because she is not mentioned again in the book except for one phone call. This author has the style of writing that for every one sentence of actual dialog there is a page following of what I call "fillers" Some are so stupid ex; ...His eyes were so bright and crystal clear. Like a remote cove in Fiji ... vomit filled my mouth like lava from a volcano. The worst is " I spilled more in her than I ever spilled in my life, filling her up like a car at a gas pump. I topped her off. Perhaps this only seems so bad because I just finished reading one of the best romance books ever. Try reading the 9 minutes trilogy by Beth Flynn. I had to get it on another site since iBooks doesn't have it.
